I grew up traveling to rodeos and ropings with my dad, began competing at an early age and continue to compete today. My family is involved in several aspects of rodeo both inside and outside the arena. My wife, Shelly, grew up in the ranching industry and has several friends and relatives involved in ranching today. Through our family, friends and colleagues we have strong ties to both the rodeo and ranching communities. We thoroughly enjoy participating, watching and being involved in rodeo and ranch activities at all levels. We bring this enthusiasm into our video business.
I began my career in the video business in 2005 as a scoreboard technician and camera operator for other companies. Over the span of two years, I worked over 15 different PRCA and PBR venues in 9 states including the National Western Stock Show, Rodeo and Horse Show, Denver, CO, the San Angelo Livestock Show and Rodeo, San Angelo, TX, and Ak-Ben-Sar's River City Roundup, Omaha, NE.
D & C Productions was started in 2006 as I continued working for other production companies on more limited basis. We began filming and producing DVD's for local events and the 2006 Amarillo Showcase of Championship Roping. Our services expanded in 2007 by providing live video feeds and instant replay for PRCA venues. Some venues visited include the Colorado State Fair, Pueblo, CO, Iowa Championship Rodeo, Sidney, IA, the Western Heritage Classic and West Texas Fair and Rodeo, Abilene, TX, and the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo, Pocatello, ID.
We have continued to produce event DVD's and hope to continue to expand in this area. DVD's we have produced include the Tom Butler Memorial Ranch Bronc Riding, the Ranch Horse Association of America 2009 Finals, and the 25th Anniversary of the Western Heritage Classic. We have also filmed events such as the Wildfire Open to the World, the Crawfish Open, and the Businessman's Team Roping Association Finals for The Roping Show which aired on RFDTV.
In 2009 we expanded our services again to include on-site viewing and DVD's of an individual's performance. We provided these services at the 2009 Texas High School Rodeo Finals, 2010 Louisiana Jr. High and High School Rodeo Finals, 2010 National Jr. High and High School Rodeo Finals, and the Ogden 8 & Under World Champion Barrel Race. We welcome the opportunity to service other events.
We use professional equipment and will bring an enthusiastic and professional attitude to your event. Although we specialize in equestrian events, we have worked other types of venues and will entertain any proposal.
